Website and Web Application Creation

The Trident On-Demand site is a content management system-based website for a Healthcare software organization based
in Greenwood Village, Colorado. More »
Trident On-Demand presented a unique and fun challenge in that
their web content consisted of a very dynamic message, due to their quickly evolving product. To address this challenge,
Blue Orbit designed and constructed their website using the DotNetNuke content management system. This flexibility
allowed the Trident On-Demand marketing team to quickly and easily change text, images, and content, based on the
rapidly changing healthcare software environment.
The 2-10.com Real Estate Agent Portal was a joint project between Blue Orbit and local Denver design gurus
Malenke Barnhart. We built the functionality, they built the

The 2-10.com Real Estate Agent Portal combines the best features
of a highly-stylized Web 2.0 website with a functional web application. Blue Orbit architected the site using an
ASP.NET web front-end integrated with of the Kentico content management system, combined with a WCF web services
(SOA) back-end. The site operates seamlessly and allows real estate agents to purchase warranties, download
marketing assets for their clients, view their existing warranties, and order warranty brochures.
The b.gardening team was looking for an updated redesign to their website. Above all, they wanted the new site to be very photo-centric. In essence, Blue Orbit built the site layout, navigation and copy around high-resolution landscaping photos of their work.

The original b.gardening Landscape Design website had become stale and outdated. Company founder Alissa Shanley reached out to Blue Orbit and asked if we'd build a site that used "less words and more pictures" of her company's work. After considering a few different layouts, everyone agreed that every page of the site would be built on top of a single compressed high-resolution portfolio photograph. The site also trumpets b.gardening's press exposure over the years, including a link to Alissa's appearance on a DIY Network landscaping contest show from 2010.

Firmus Consulting brought a few main requirements to the table, when
discussing the re-design of their existing website. First and foremost, they were looking for an update of the
somewhat simple look-and-feel of their original site. Second, Firmus wanted to showcase a handful of Case Studies
that they'd created for some well-known clients in the technology industry. Blue Orbit built an extremely clean,
professional and easy-to-use site around these requirements, while still showcasing Firmus' existing logo and color
palette. The site is fully Search Engine Optimized, incorporating industry standard SEO techniques, as well as
accordance with the Google Webmaster Guidelines.
